Formation, like words shaped by the functional needs of language, embodies the continuous transformation of previous artworks. It evolves from the work developed around the concept of the Collective Unknown in 2022.

Within the realm of phenomena, Formation reflects the transformation of a single entity across time, emerging with new elements and an evolving artistic language. As thought takes form, these elements themselves undergo metamorphosis—layered with ideas, concepts, and often catalyzed by fresh insights or understandings. Intentionally, artistic practice shifts into artistic research, expanding into territories where past and present, memory and perception, blend into persistent psychic states. These “things”—felt experiences, sensations, fragments of the past—continue to exist within us.

Formation engages with conscious processes in artistic research, activating mechanisms for processing abstract elements—traces that circulate within the internal world of the individual. These fragments, which I refer to as remains or remnants, manifest as informational residues lodged within the human unconscious. In the psychic domain, everything intertwines through a kind of personal osmosis diffusion, assuming mental or imaginary forms, clothed in emotional and sensorial nuance. With time, memory discards most factual details, leaving behind traces that encapsulate the essence of specific events.

Imagine a reservoir within us, filled with emotional memory—a field of self-reflective feeling. From this internal space arises singular visual manifestations. The body of works was created in pursuit of a figurative language for the things that exist, move, develop, and remain within me.
